Description
- adults are brownish gray to dark gray bugs
- about 5/8 inch long
- nymphs have a green abdomen with crimson head, thorax, legs and antennae
- later become grayish-white with nearly black legs and antennae
- well camouflaged
Damage
- attacked plant stems often are enlarged but later wither and die
- can become numerous on squash and pumpkins
